About Us

We both worked hard all our lives, raised 3 beautiful children and was fortunate to travel to some spectacular overseas destinations. Thinking our camping days were over we were invited to go camping to Cape York - Qld.

Still wanting a bit of luxury we purchased a slide on camper, as we lived on Kangaroo Island we loved the thought of not having to pay extra for a trailer to get off and on the island. Packed with only minimal equipment and supplies and we were off.

Well guess what! we were hooked.

We made our mind up there and then that we weren't going to wait for retirement. We went home and started planning to take off full time travelling around this glorious country called "Australia".

After months of research we decided to purchase our Kedron 21ft XC3 caravan. Being a full off -road caravan meant that we could be fully self sufficient wherever we ventured.

We did a 3 month trip to the Kimberley in 2014 , mainly to see if we were setup as needed but also to see if we could put up with each other in such a small space. Well, I am pleased to say we are still together and enjoying life to the fullest.

Rob being self-employed and myself working in Tourism, we closed our business and I left my job and in April, 2015 we said good bye to our family and friends and have been on the road ever since.
