As the weather was extremely hot and humid we decided to stick to the coast, so free camps where on the list.

First stop was Cliff Head, a short drive in from main road you come to an amazing site right on the beach with toilets and shelter shed, stayed here 2 nights. Lovely sea breeze.

Next a overnighter at a 24hr free camp right in Dongara. Not a lot here just a place for the night and to fill up with water.

walking distance to township

About 63 klms north and just south of Geraldton is a very popular camp called Ellendale Pool. Although rather small area for caravans, but has some stunning cliff faces and 1klm long water hole. Toilets and dump point. Was going to spend 3 nights but the flies were so bad only stayed 1 night.

Spent 3 nights in the national park bush camp. Great spot and a lot to explore within the park. Lots of wildlife, bush walks etc. Very relaxing and peaceful. Only a 10min. drive to a lovely beach and shops.

After a great 2 weeks at Jen and Baz's we moved to Mandurah/Falcon and spent 10days at the Miami Caravan Park catching up with our friends - Lydi & George that we met on the road in 2015, good time had. We spent this time to do some bits and pieces on the car and van, and give them both a good cleaning before heading off.
